When Yael Wolfson joined the homosexual surfing group of the “Hagal Sheli” association through the gay youth organization, he stopped having many concerns and uncertainties about his gender identification. Instead, he learned how to navigate not just in the water but also in life. He eventually closed a circle and rose to the position of a guide: “I got to give back, teach, and influence.
