At the age of 14, Miriam found herself on the street, hanging out with the wrong people, getting into trouble with the law. Four years later, she guides boys and girls like her, who have fallen into the abyss, and helps them start over thanks to “Hagal Sheli” – an association that changes the lives of at-risk boys. Throughout his childhood and youth, Elias Saba lived in the shadow of humiliation, insults and beatings by his friends, who mocked him for his body dimensions and the fact that he was afraid to enter the sea. Thanks to the “Hagal Sheli” , he learned to overcome all difficulties and get on a surfboard safely – and today he guides young people at the high school where he studied himself • “It’s a crazy closing of the circle, to return to a place that gives me a second chance, this time as a leading and valued character”
