Founded in 2013, HaGal Sheli is a nonprofit organization operating 11 therapeutic surf centers along Israel’s coastline. The organization uses surfing as a powerful educational and therapeutic tool to empower at-risk youth, individuals with disabilities and special needs, and trauma survivors.

Location: Jaffa & Bat Yam, Israel (based on CEO’s schedule) | Employment Type: Full-Time (100%) | Start Date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

The Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO position includes the following responsibilities: Executive Support to the CEO: • Manage the CEO's calendar, including prioritizing, coordinating, and scheduling external meetings and important appointments. • Attend meetings, take minutes, prepare summaries, and ensure follow-up on action items. • Provide quick and efficient responses to various opportunities and assist in problem-solving. • Contribute to special projects and assist with emerging needs. Donor & Partner Relations: • Assist in managing relationships with key partners and donors. • Support communication and engagement with stakeholders. Communication Management: • Manage the organization’s communication channels, including phone, email, and inquiries. • Build and maintain relationships with various professional contacts.

Job Requirements

• Native written and verbal proficiency in English and Hebrew – required. • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to draft formal documents in both English and Hebrew – required. • Proven experience in fundraising and resource development. • Familiarity with North American Jewish communities – significant advantage. • Strong technical proficiency, including advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Platforms, and CRM systems – required. • Bachelor's degree – required. • Master’s degree – advantage. • Familiarity and experience in the nonprofit sector – significant advantage. • Proven experience in office/administrative management – significant advantage. • Must be highly flexible and available to work at any time as needed.
