Head of International Marketing‏

Since 2013, HaGal Sheli (My Wave) has empowered over 15,000 at-risk youth and trauma survivors across Israel by utilizing surfing as a transformative and therapeutic tool, fostering personal growth, resilience, and success in overcoming life’s challenges. HaGal Sheli’s five-year leadership program promotes social integration, self-confidence, and academic success, improving job prospects for vulnerable populations. Graduates complete the program as surf instructors, mentors, and community leaders, equipped with valuable skills and experience.

In response to the events of October 7th, HaGal Sheli expanded its reach with the emergency trauma intervention program, “Tools from the Waves.” This initiative provides essential care to individuals severely impacted by the attacks, supporting over 2,700 trauma survivors, including released hostages, displaced communities from the Gaza Envelope and north, survivors of the Nova Festival and other parties, and active duty soldiers.

Key Responsibilities

This dynamic, field-based role serves as the operative link between Marketing and Resource Development, focused on building and maintaining relationships with global Jewish communities, primarily in North America.
The position includes creating content for the organization’s social media channels, newsletters, and website, as well as supporting broader marketing initiatives.
The role also involves coordinating PR efforts, supporting community events, and ensuring consistent, impactful communication across platforms.
Onsite at Hadassah Neurim once a week, attending conferences in Israel and abroad.

• Native English speaker – Required
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a nonprofit/philanthropic organization (in Israel or abroad), in a Marketing / Resource Development / Fundraising department – Required
• Bachelor’s degree – Required
• Proven experience in content creation – Required
